Gurusree public school celebrated International Yoga and Music Day on June 21st. Vice Chairman of S N Mission Rajan E S Sir, Academic Director Mohanachandran Sir, Secretary/Manager Deepak Sathyapalan Sir, Joint secretary Saseendran Sir , Principal Shiny K G Ma’am and Vice Principal Asamol K K, SWC president and Vice president were attended the Programme.Variety entertainment programmes were presented on that day. Day begun with the Prayer by School choir. One of the students, Viswanath Valsan from class X sang a song. S I of Kodungallur Harold Sir, Civil Police officers Sujith Sir and Sreekala Ma’am were attended the event and gave a message on the importance of Yoga in daily life. Adv.Anandam also delivered a speech sharing her valuable information on Yoga to the students. Murali Master, famous violinist presented a soothing musical performance with his violin. All the students enjoyed it very much. The Yoga demonstartion of classes 1 to 12 , mass Yoga demonstration by the little kids and display of the various Yoga asanas by the lower class students were carried out in the Auditorium under the guidance of Yoga Instructor Jaya Radhakrishnan Ma’am. It was really an inspirational Programme. Daniel of standard XI played his keyboad. It was also a thrilling experience for the students. Our music Teacher Deepa Rajesh Ma’am has given the necessary guidance for all the musical performance. The Sopana Sangeetham presented by the head boy Govind P M and Anjaly R Menon received much attention from the audience. Chenda Percussion by Govind P M and team was a mind blowing performance. So all together it was a successful and memorable Day.
In connection with reading day A K Ayyappan – C V Sukumaran Library, Pullut has allowed the subscription of their monthly magazine “Grantha lokham” to Gurusree School library by receiving the amount.
